HazGuard Gear Replacement Filter Cartridge

The HazGuard Filter Cartridge is a precision-engineered, replaceable filtration cartridge designed exclusively for the two-way exhaust valve on the HazGuard Turnout Gear Bag. It reduces the release of hazardous particulates and toxic vapors into the breathing zone during routine venting of the sealed bag.

Dual-Stage Filtration

• H14 HEPA media effectively traps soot, particulates, heavy metals, and fibrous debris
• High-capacity activated carbon matrix adsorbs and retains volatile organic compounds (VOCs), benzene, formaldehyde, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), and other toxic gaseous byproducts

Operational Sequence

1. Place turnout gear in the bag and fully seal the zipper.
2. Open the two-way exhaust valve.
3. Compress the bag or use the HazGuard Gear Vent Pro to evacuate internal air volume.
4. All exhaust airflow is routed through the HazGuard Filter cartridge.
5. Particulates and chemical vapors are captured within the filter media, significantly reducing exposure to personnel and bystanders.
